ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- As Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton answered question after question about the team's offensive struggles Wednesday, including on quarterback Bo Nix's play and the possible solutions for it, he arrived at a bottom line: "Certainly this isn't championship football, what we see.''
The Broncos (2-2) rank near the bottom of the league in scoring (27th), total yards per game (27th), rushing yards per game (29th), passing yards per game (20th), QBR (23rd) and Offensive EPA (22nd).
As the queries about the offense came, Payton said, "I was having a good Wednesday, I felt like I was having a good Wednesday.''
