EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers did not practice Wednesday because of a knee injury, saying only he was more "sore" than usual.
He exited the Giants' first practice of the week Wednesday and sat on a medicine ball and talked to team trainers during the open portion of practice. The Pro Bowl receiver seemed to be walking with a slight limp when the two-hour practice was over.
"Just sore," Nabers said at the podium moments later. "Just sore. We'll see how the next day goes, but through the week, I'm usually sore. But this one was kind of a little bit more sore. I always continue to fight through it."
