Defensive tackle CJ Okoye is reuniting with New York Giants coach John Harbaugh.
Okoye was traded from the Baltimore Ravens to the Giants on Saturday for a 2028 seventh-round pick, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
A reserve defensive lineman, Okoye played in Baltimore under Harbaugh last season. The 24-year-old was considered to be on the bubble heading into Sunday's roster cut-down for the Ravens.
The Giants were short on interior defensive line depth and add a player who has familiarity with the coaching staff. Okoye joins fellow former Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely, punter Jordan Stout, defensive back Ar'Darius Washington and fullback Patrick Ricard in New York.
