The Bundesliga giants have not made an offer to the 16-year-old because they have yet to receive a firm commitment from him, and they fear that he favours a move to Spain. A January switch is planned for Gabriel -- who has not trained with United since walking out on the club ahead of their Carabao Cup tie with Brighton & Hove AlbionBrighton & Hove on Sept. 16 -- but United want to retain the teenager.
- Liverpool are considering a January move for Fulham midfielder Josh King, according to Football Insider. The 19-year-old is also attracting interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona after an impressive start to the season. Fulham are reluctant to lose him, but Liverpool view King as a potential long-term addition and will continue monitoring his performances before deciding whether to make a move. He is under contract at Craven Cottage until June 2029.
