Former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany said he remains "proud" of the club's achievements during his time there despite the club being found guilty of more than 100 breaches of Premier League financial rules.
Kompany spent more than a decade with City between 2008 and 2019, lifting the Premier League trophy four times, also winning the FA Cup twice and the League Cup four times.
An independent commission has found that City broke financial rules across nine seasons from 2009-10 to 2017-18, which covers three of the Premier League titles Kompany won with City.
The Bayern Munich head coach said: "I played 11 years for the club. I've loved all of the years I played for the club and everything we achieved and done on the pitch, that's something I'm really proud of.
