Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur face each other in the Premier League this weekend, with pressure ramping up on their new managers, Michael Carrick and Roberto De Zerbi respectively, after poor starts to the season. Winless Spurs have won just two points from a possible 15 and sit rock-bottom in the Premier League, while 12th-placed United have won once, drawn twice and lost twice.
De Zerbi was strongly backed by Spurs in the transfer market this summer -- to the tune of over £300 million -- and was appointed on a five-year contract only six months ago. But his expansive, collective-based style of play isn't easy or quick to implement, and his only previous experience of a similar high-pressure environment came at Marseille, where a promising start deteriorated amid internal and external tensions.
