The Washington Commanders ruled out two starters for Sunday's game in London, though three others remain a possibility to return. Guard Sam Cosmi and safety Nick Cross did not travel with the team to London on Tuesday night for their Week 4 game against the Colts.
Both were considered long shots to make the trip; each was hurt in Week 2 at Dallas. Cosmi suffered a concussion late in the 37-20 loss while Cross played despite an injury the team has described as "internal" but needed to have surgery after the game and stayed overnight at a hospital in Dallas.
Three other injured starters did accompany Washington (1-2) to London, as coach Dan Quinn said they would on Monday: quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow), tight end Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) and linebacker Frankie Luvu (groin). Quinn said all three would participate in at least some portion of practice this week. Washington will have a light workout Wednesday after arriving earlier that morning.
