Liverpool have signed teenage forward Djylian N'Guessan although he won't play for the club until at least next season.
The 18-year-old will sign for Liverpool on a permanent deal in January from Saint-Etienne, but will spend this campaign on loan at Stade Brestois.
After debuting in January 2025 for Saint-Etienne, the French forward played 13 times and scored once.
N'Guessan played seven times for France in the 2025 Under-20 World Cup. Last summer he was named in the Team of the Tournament at the U17 European Championship, having scored four goals for France.
Djylian N'Guessan will arrive at Liverpool next summer. Getty Similarly, Liverpool also wrapped up the £30 million ($41m) signing of goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans who will spend this season away on loan.
Brughmans, also 18, has signed from Belgian side KRC Genk where he will remain on-loan for this campaign.
