CINCINNATI -- Coach Zac Taylor indicated that Cincinnati Bengals star wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins should be ready for the season opener.
Both Chase and Higgins are nursing injuries in the final days before the official start of the regular season. Chase is still dealing with a hyperextended left knee he suffered in a practice on Aug. 25, while Higgins is battling a bruised heel.
They were not participating during the open portion of Tuesday's practice. However, Taylor said the issues shouldn't linger as the Bengals prepare to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 13.
