Britain's Toby Samuel caused one of the shocks of the opening day at the US Open by thrashing Czech star Tomas Machac.
Samuel, who came through qualifying to make his main draw debut at Flushing Meadows, stunned the former top 20 player 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 in just 90 minutes.
The 23-year-old from Winchester rifled down serves of up to 135 miles per hour to blow Machac away.
In doing so Samuel moved into the world's top 100 while earning £140,000 ($189,000), comfortably the biggest pay day of his career.

But the 25-year-old had no answer to the rockets fired down from six-foot-three Samuel, who dropped just five points on serve over the first two sets.
Machac at least briefly made a fight of it in the third, forcing an early break, but Samuel hit straight back to end any threat of a comeback.
Samuel's reward is a second-round meeting with another Czech, the 18th seed Jiri Lehecka.
Norrie's summer of gloom continues

Norrie, who did not make it past the opening round at the French Open or Wimbledon, was dumped out of the US Open by unheralded Frenchman Luca Van Assche.
It was a sorry Sunday for the 31-year-old, who woke up to find he had been overtaken as British number one by Arthur Fery following his run to the Winston-Salem final.
Norrie revealed beforehand that he won a padel competition among his friends while on his stag do in Ibiza last month.
It turns out that was the only victory he could savour after slipping to a 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 defeat.
