Ipswich Town have announced the signing of World Cup-winner Exequiel Palacios from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 27-year-old joins from Leverkusen, where he won the Bundesliga in 2024, after moving from River Plate in 2020.
The Argentina international was part of the squad that won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He is Ipswich's 11th signing of the summer, in a group which includes Julio Enciso from Strasbourg, Emersonn from Toulouse, Abdul Fatawu from Leicester, Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg and Florentino from Burnley.

"I am delighted to have signed for Ipswich Town," Exequiel told club media. "This is a club with great ambition and I am excited to play football in England and compete against some of the best clubs and players in the world.
"I have enjoyed speaking with everyone at the club and I am now looking forward to meeting everyone and getting started on the pitch with my teammates, as well as meeting the fans as soon as possible."
