The NFL's cut-down deadline is Sunday, and the 2026 NFL season is less than two weeks away. But before 32 NFL rosters get pared down to 53 players each, we're doing our annual inventory of the most recent draft class through training camp.
We asked our NFL Nation writers to size up how all 257 draftees have fared since being selected. They have updates on every player who went off the board, from No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza to Broncos linebacker Red Murdock, this year's "Mr. Irrelevant." Who is in line to start for their team? Who is outplaying their draft position in the preseason and could make an early impact? And which high picks are falling behind?
Rookies are grouped by team below, and each team is listed in the order by which it made its first selection in April. That means we begin with the Raiders' class, before hitting the Jets and Cardinals and so on.

Las Vegas Raiders
Round 1 (No. 1): Fernando Mendoza, QB. Mendoza might not be the Week 1 starter, but signs of him being a franchise quarterback are there. Throughout training camp, players and coaches have praised the Heisman Trophy winner's improved confidence. He's unafraid of targeting tight windows. On top of that, he has a firmer grasp of the system, resulting in better command of the offense. "That's hard to do as a young guy," center Tyler Linderbaum said. "You're dealing with a lot of new things, a whole new offense. So seeing the growth in his command and operation, it's a good starting point."
Round 2 (No. 38): Treydan Stukes, S. Stukes has picked up momentum lately. He performed well against the Texans in the second preseason game and played mostly with the first-team defense during the final week of training camp.
Round 3 (No. 67): Keyron Crawford, edge rusher. Crawford has flashed at times during training camp while working mostly with the second-team defense. He's currently behind Maxx Crosby, Kwity Paye and Malcolm Koonce, but the Raiders like to rotate their edge rushers in games. So Crawford should get some playing time this season.
Round 3 (No. 91): Trey Zuhn III, G/OT. The Raiders view Zuhn as an interior offensive lineman, but he has played right tackle in preseason games. It seems like Las Vegas is prepping Zuhn to be a swing tackle this season.
