The Gambia international has given the green light to Liverpool's project, although the deal remains some way off, with Brighton rejecting a second bid of £60 million for the 22-year-old. Talks between the two Premier League clubs are ongoing.

Liverpool have enquired about the Brazil international's availability this summer, following his eye-catching loan spell at Lyon.
