Harry Kane said he no longer has the same "itch" to return to the Premier League as he did when he first left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich three years ago.
England captain Kane has enjoyed huge success with the Bavarian giants, helping them win the last two Bundesliga titles to end his wait for major silverware. And on Wednesday he received the European Golden Shoe for the second time after finishing the 2025-26 season as the leading scorer across Europe's domestic leagues.

The 33-year-old has often been linked with a return to the Premier League, amid the prospect of surpassing Alan Shearer's record of 260 goals in the competition. But Kane, who scored 213 Premier League goals in his time with Tottenham, said such thoughts are far from the front of his mind.
"When I first left [Spurs in 2023], for sure it was something that I thought I'd definitely be coming back. That itch isn't there as much anymore," he told FourFourTwo.
"I'm extremely happy here in Munich. It's opened my eyes to a totally different world of football outside of England. It's made me appreciate European football even more. With the team we have here, with the manager. My family are really settled here. It's just about being in the best place possible.
"I never say never but, for now, I'm concentrating on Bayern Munich, and we'll see what the future holds."

"We obviously said we wanted to talk after the World Cup and after my holiday. So I'm not sure exactly when, but they'll start this week, next week... we'll start those talks.
"Like I've said before, we're calm, I think they're calm with the situation."
Kane scored 36 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances and added five assists last season. His total gave him 72 points under the Golden Shoe's weighted scoring system, well ahead of Manchester City's Erling Haaland, who had 27 goals and 54 points. Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé finished third with 25 goals and 50 points.
Kane matched the 36 league goals that earned him his first European Golden Shoe in 2023-24. He also won the Bundesliga's top-scorer award for a third consecutive season and has now recorded 98 goals in 94 German league appearances since joining Bayern.
