RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said the team has interest in signing Terrion Arnold after meeting with the free agent cornerback over the weekend.
Arnold was released by the Detroit Lions, who drafted him in the first round in 2024, in late June, less than a week after he was arrested in Tampa, Florida, on felony charges in connection with a robbery and kidnapping in early February.
Seattle brought Arnold to team headquarters Sunday for a meeting that included a workout. It was listed as a tryout on the NFL's transaction wire.
Macdonald was asked about the Seahawks' interest in Arnold on Monday.
"It's enough right now that we had him in for a great visit, a great tryout," Macdonald said. "It's a situation where there's other things that are surrounding it. We're aware of that. But we're working through the situation right now. But it was a great visit. I really enjoyed meeting him, and I think he enjoyed being here, so we'll see where it goes."
