It's quite possible that all things turn to gold for Liam Coen, whose offenses have continued to surprise and evolve no matter what team he leads. Cut to 2025, when the Coen-led the Jacksonville Jaguars capped off a 13-win season with an eight-game win streak prior to a nail-biting loss to the Bills in the playoffs. In fact, of the Jaguars' five losses last season, three of them featured blown leads in the final two minutes, while the other two came at the hands of the league's best teams in the Seahawks and Rams. Trevor Lawrence finished 2025 playing the best football of his career, and another year in Coen's scheme should keep the offense competitive. The supporting cast is deep, with Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Travis Hunter giving Lawrence plenty of options, while Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. should form a capable backfield.
The concern is whether last season's strengths are repeatable. The Jaguars went 6-3 in one-score games and finished second in the league with 31 takeaways, two statistical areas that tend to fluctuate from year to year.
