The Charlotte Hornets are trading Miles Bridges, a 2029 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick to the Phoenix Suns for Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale and a 2033 first-round pick, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
This is the second big trade the Hornets have made in three days after sending All-Star point guard LaMelo Ball to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The Hornets also agreed to a three-year $74 million deal to keep Coby White.
Bridges played a big role last season in helping the Hornets come within one play-in victory of ending a playoff drought that dates to 2016. He was a popular veteran leader for a young Hornets core and did a lot of the small things to help Ball, Brandon Miller and rookie Kon Knueppel became more of the offensive focal points.
