Luis Enrique admitted he understands "different points of view" regarding Paris St Germain's request to move their Ligue 1 fixture with Lens.
Last week, Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) granted PSG's request to move the game, which was set to take place on April 11, as they focus on their Champions League quarterfinal matches against Liverpool.
PSG host the Reds on April 8 and will now have a free weekend before travelling to Anfield for the return fixture on April 14.
Lens are currently battling with the Parisians at the top of Ligue 1 and expressed their disapproval in a statement issued last week, but Luis Enrique believes the decision has to be accepted.
He told a news conference: "Our position is clear. We defend our club and I understand there are different points of view, that is normal.
"I accept different opinions. I understand what Lens think. That is normal. We have to accept what has been decided.
"We've accepted it and this is life. Of course everyone has their own interests at heart. And it is acceptable to us."
Luis Enrique's side return from the international break on Friday night with a clash against mid-table Toulouse.
PSG are top of the table and are closely followed by Lens, who sit only one point behind them in the standings with seven Ligue 1 games to go, starting with a Saturday night clash against rivals Lille.
The Parisian team have eight league games remaining and are still in the mix for the Champions League, but Luis Enrique stressed the importance of winning points.

"The players are very intelligent and they know about this phase of the season," he said.
"The match against Toulouse is the most important one because we need the points. Lens are playing Lille in the derby so it will be a tough match for them.
"It's important for us to win. It won't be easy based on the level of Toulouse.
"I know how intelligent my players are, we have to expect difficult things tomorrow. Our clear target is to win the game tomorrow."
Enrique also provided an injury update, adding: "We have had information and it is very positive because there are no injuries.
"After the training session this afternoon we will see what physical and mental states the players are in.
